We warmly welcome you and thank you for joining us. Let's begin with a brief introduction and get to know each other. To promote relaxation and foster connections, we will start with an icebreaker activity. For the next 45 minutes, we will combine a meditation warm-up with gentle and intentional movements. Focusing on our breath, body, and mindfulness, we will guide you through a soothing journey. To refuel our bodies and continue our creative flow, we will provide healthy snacks and refreshments. During this time, feel free to express your thoughts or feelings from the previous session on a shared board or verbally. Next, we will introduce experienced dancers to guide us through a choreographic process. By reviewing our journal entries and translating our emotions into movement, we will work individually or in small groups to create our own choreography. After this invigorating session, we will take an hour-long lunch break to recharge and relax before our next session. We will then move into group sharing through a round of performances from participants or small groups and end with final observations and closing remarks.
The objective of this movement restshop is to provide participants with a holistic experience that combines physical activity with mental well-being. By integrating a meditation warm-up and mindfulness journaling practice, the workshop aims to promote a sense of balance, self-awareness, and overall wellness.

F.A.E. guides Fairy Best Life and Faery Fire beckon you on a wondrous journey through the realms of imagination with Mystical Tales: A F.A.E. Kids Adventure! We will explore Folklore, Arts, and Embodiment through interactive storytelling, collaborative performing arts activities and grounding embodiment exercises. Mystical Tales: A F.A.E. Kids Adventure is a gateway to unleash creativity, play, reflection, and discovery, inviting children to forge deeper connections with themselves and the mystical world that surrounds them. Join us and let your imagination take flight on this extraordinary adventure!
Fairy Best Life and Faery Fire would read a short original story about the lore of the "Strength" card, with the help of 2 children volunteers to act out the 2 main characters, a lion and a mermaid. The story would teach the duality of strength as both courage (the lion) and flow (the mermaid). After a magical dance of balance, the dragon of strength appears, a harmonizing of both the lion and mermaid, strength and fluidity. Storytime would lead to group performing arts activities to harness the corresponding attributes of courage, flow, and strength by embodying the characters of the lion, mermaid, and dragon. Lastly, we would guide them through a breathwork and meditation experience of self-discovery, reflection, and empowerment by embodying lessons of the story in their own lives.
