Gaga Winter Series
Heart of Stars; exploring the cosmos through the intelligence of the body. In my practice I am constantly at the edge, and I find like the cosmos, my edge is constantly expanding. Theories test mysteries I will never understand, but my heart of stars expands.

Led by certified Gaga instructor, Amy Morrow.
Gaga provides a framework for discovering and strengthening your body and adding flexibility, stamina, and agility while lightening the senses and imagination. Gaga raises awareness of physical weaknesses, awakens numb areas, exposes physical fixations, and offers ways for their elimination. The work improves instinctive movement and connects conscious and unconscious movement, and it allows for an experience of freedom and pleasure in a simple way, in a pleasant space, in comfortable clothes, accompanied by music, each person with himself and others.
“We become more aware of our form. We connect to the sense of the endlessness of possibilities. We explore multi-dimensional movement; we enjoy the burning sensation in our muscles, we are ready to snap, we are aware of our explosive power and sometimes we use it. We change our movement habits by finding new ones. We go beyond our familiar limits. We can be calm and alert at once.” – Ohad Naharin
// TOOLBOX //
Do you desire to have agile and ageless spine? How about connecting to the flow of energy from your hands to your heart? We spark our passion to move with multilayered tasks and youthful games. We expand, grow, and marvel at the intelligence of the body.
A few thoughts as we begin our experiment: Your presence is the greatest gift. Thank you for showing up! We cannot teach each other anything, but together we can learn a lot. We experiment rigorously. We embrace impossible tasks with optimism. We find efficient pathways. We distribute effort. We partner to become imperfect because any soloist can be perfect, but a partner can help you grow. We play movement games to stay young at heart. We welcome complexity. We empower choices by giving options. We simplify tasks and find relationship. We re-choreograph ourselves. We push our limits. We reset the body to prevent injury. We listen to the body as our teacher. We ask "What if?" We celebrate each other. Your practice inspires our practice.
