HONORARIUM AND ACCOMODAITON:
Selected performers will receive a performance contract detailing the honorarium upon acceptance. The fee will be based on the extent and duration of performances and involvement and will take into consideration travel costs locally and internationally. Fisterra and The Theorists will provide letters of support for artists to apply for additional funding to subsidize expenses.
THE STAGE:
The wooden stage has black marley. Dressing Rooms are provided. Theorist Fest crew members coordinate all technical needs and run sound during the performance.
SITE-SPECIFIC
Our theater is in the heart of South Austin neighboring Butler Park, the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge, and Barton Springs.
LIGHTING & PUBLICITY
The Theorists provide professional lighting design and publicity.
PROPS:
Performers are responsible for all props and costumes. Nothing may come in contact with the trees. No confetti or glitter, and please be environmentally conscious.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY:
Professional photography and videography are available for performers to purchase at an affordable, discounted rate.
MASTERCLASSES:
Selected choreographers will receive invitations to teach master classes as a part of the festival (these classes will be compensated) as well as attend TBX workshops pro-rated with international artists.
